To prevent you having to place your waste on the floor before you can open the cover,
a gas spring (GV100-N) is available as an option.
Once it is placed, you can push the lid up with your elbow.
The lid will be opened further by the gas spring and it will remain open,
allowing you to easily throw the waste into the container.
